Lolly Shortlisted Finalist For UK Dev Awards 2024

Written by Jessica Cross

Groundbreaking app continues to go from strength-to-strength.

Lolly, the hospitality software house, is delighted to announce that the LollyApp has been shortlisted for the UK Dev Awards 2024.

The UK Dev Awards showcase all things digital. They are a celebration of the teams that communicate digitally to grow business – the UX people, the technical teams, the coders, and the designers. The awards focus on those companies optimising user experiences, improving accessibility, and smashing technological limitations.

The integrated LollyApp is built with the future in mind, delivering an all-in-one pre-order, payment, and loyalty solution – to support food and drink purchases. Targeted at busy contract catering customers, where there is a small service window and the demands of hundreds or thousands of people (staff and visitors), come in at the same time. It is not a single product but combines myriad solutions into a wallet-based product, which the hospitality provider and their customer can select.

Commenting on the app, Peter Moore, CEO at Lolly, said: “Our app keeps giving, and we have been astounded by its results, from the number of downloads to the revenue it helps our clients to generate.  It creates real ROI, which was always its objective.

“It has also been really encouraging to see how the app can help to educate its users around the impact of their food and drink purchasing habits on the environment, through the carbon footprint monitoring. This, in turn, is helping our hospitality clients to manage aspects such as food wastage.

“It is great to be shortlisted for another prestigious award and we can see we are up against some stiff competition. Wishing good luck to all finalists.”
