Lolly Launches Go Windows 10 Based EPoS on a Tablet

Lolly Launches Go Windows 10 Based EPoS on a Tablet

Today sees the launch of the Go by retail and hospitality PoS payment technology specialist, Lolly (Consolis). The Go is a stylish fixed and portable EPoS system for cost-effective merchants the perfect bridge between the smartphone and the desktop point-of-sale system. It combines all the traditional EPoS features into a tablet device and has been designed and built for food-on-the-go merchants looking to upgrade from an electronic cash register. The price point is aimed directly at the independent hospitality provider: a simple, monthly fee, which includes rental of the terminal and all peripherals, communication licences, support, and maintenance.

An enterprise-class 10” handheld tablet, the Go is sturdy and resilient and runs the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. Its touch-screen enables operators of all skill levels to use the system quickly and intuitively. Furthermore, the ability to detach the billing process from one particular area improves customer satisfaction by taking the payment service directly to the customer’s location or table.

The Lolly Go is delivered ready to go, integrated with a countertop credit card machine and available with a cash drawer, scanner, optional barcode reader, and Bluetooth printer, as well as extended (all-day-long) battery life.

Peter Moore, CEO of Lolly, said: "Hospitality and retail businesses are rapidly adopting tablet technology for the ultimate in style, convenience, flexibility, and scalability bringing great benefits to bottom-line profits. To address this growing demand, Lolly Systems has launched the Go, which we believe is the ideal replacement for a traditional cash register at the point-of-sale. It offers a perfect solution for the merchant in-store or on the move."

"At Lolly, we support independent hospitality providers across the UK," Moore continued. "We want to open a gateway for these merchants to use the infrastructure that, to date, has only been available to larger organisations."

With the arrival of payment systems like Apple Pay and Yoyo Wallet, it is even easier for customers to pay quickly using their smartphones with an integrated payment terminal. Additionally, with support for mobile wallets and payment systems, the merchant can instantly offer digital loyalty programs, coupons, vouchers, and reward schemes at checkout.
