Together We Inspire- Lolly x Kids Inspire Partnership

Announcing our new partnership with children's mental health charity, Kids Inspire

At Lolly we believe in supporting local communities and making a difference, which is why we’re proud to announce our new charity partnership with Kids Inspire, a local Essex/Suffolk-based children's mental health charity offering free trauma support to families who otherwise couldn't afford it.

How do they help?

Kids Inspire was founded in 2007 to fill a gap in mental health services for children, young people and their families. They offer personalised recovery plans tailored to the unique emotional, behavioural or mental health needs of each young person. These can include creative art therapies, trauma resolution therapies, family therapy and psychodynamic counselling.

Rachael Bassett, Fundraising Manager at Kids Inspire, said that their mission is to ensure children receive holistic specialist support to become healthy adults who lead complete and fulfilling lives, preventing the need for adult services in the future. She told us; “We provide and share inspiration and best practice with other providers across the education, health, and private sectors in Essex and beyond.”

Each year over 4,500 children and their families receive support from Kids Inspire, and we want to ensure that other struggling families can receive the same care.

Lolly’s partnership

During Lolly’s 12-month charity partnership, together we will be raising awareness and supporting the charity through both financial donations and community engagement- starting with our Christmas Present Drive. We’ll be collecting gifts to help make these children’s Christmases, and their smiles, a little brighter.

Rachael Bassett praised the partnership, saying that, “Support from Lolly as one of our charity partners is vital. The need for our services is growing faster than ever, and there are more children waiting for help than we can currently reach. With Lolly's financial support we can help provide more therapy sessions, expand our programmes, and ensure that every child has the chance to heal, trust, and finally, be a child again.

“We very much look forward to working with Lolly over the next year.”

How you can help

If you’re inspired by this partnership and would like to get involved, there are many ways to support Kids Inspire. Whether it’s through volunteering, donating or getting involved in fundraisers, your contribution can make a big difference in the lives of those who need it most.
