It’s Lolly Continues in its Apprenticeship Mission

It’s Lolly Continues in its Apprenticeship Mission

For the fifth year running, It’s Lolly is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week by welcoming on board the company’s latest apprentice, Denisa Richvalska.

The company, which delivers end-to-end, integrated technology solutions for hospitality providers and corporate caterers, believes in the power of apprenticeships to support the next generation of talent to realise their potential, as well as the important role they can play in a business.

Denisa joins the Lolly apprenticeship scheme as an accounts apprentice. In her role, she will be shadowing other members of the accounts team, with a view to attending further training and achieving the necessary qualifications with either the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), or the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), to help her advance in her career.

As part of its’ apprenticeship scheme, Lolly is dedicated to providing training and experience that gives participants life skills beyond technology knowledge. Apprentices have a role at Lolly when they have graduated from the apprenticeship scheme, but even whilst they are in the programme they are integral to the team.

Peter Moore, CEO, It’s Lolly, comments on his appreciation for the role apprentices play in the organisation and his perspective on apprenticeships: “We are delighted to welcome Denisa to the team. Our training programme is structured, to ensure apprentices are given the support to learn all the technical aspects. However, we also like to get them involved in practical, day-to-day and challenging projects to ensure they gain first-hand experience and absorb the full spectrum of their role in the company.

“Every one of our previous apprentices has been a real asset to the company. The enthusiasm, dedication and new perspective they bring has meant we learn from them too.”

Denisa adds: “I am so pleased to be working at Lolly, the team is incredibly supportive and friendly, and the office is a really welcoming environment. I am really looking forward to learning new skills and taking my career to the next level.”
