Lolly visits EuroCIS 2025 to explore the retail industry's leading technological innovations
What is EuroCIS?
EuroCIS is an annual trade fair that exhibits the very latest technology for the retail sector.
Lolly goes to Germany
On Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th February 2025, Lolly attended this year’s exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany. The four company representatives included Peter Moore (Founder & CEO), Gero Turone (Director of Customer Experience), Harriet Gribble (Product Manager), and Ben Norman (Director of People & Culture), all of whom were there to gain valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies and their practical applications within retail.
The event provided an opportunity for the team to connect with industry experts and explore the industry’s leading innovations, while taking inspiration from exciting new concepts that Lolly can look to harness within its current products and future technologies.
Statistics from the event
The overall figures collected from this year’s trade show speaks volumes in terms of its worldwide influence and impact within the retail industry:
- 500 exhibitors from 37 countries
- 14,000 attendees from 95 countries (international attendees making up 50%)
- 375,000 virtual visitors

Lolly’s key takeaways
Across the two days, the team saw an abundance of AI technology, which drove many discussions around how Lolly can utilise generative AI throughout its integrated product range, including EPoS, self-serve, mobile app, and more.
As well as AI-driven software innovations, next-level displays of the latest hardware, specifically EPoS and self-serve products, also introduced new possibilities for Lolly to pursue as the company continues to develop its new era of technology for hospitality.

Lolly has become the first UK hospitality technology company to achieve the new ISO42001 accreditation. This international standard recognises organisations that manage AI responsibly and transparently. The accreditation reinforces Lolly’s commitment to ethical governance, practical value, and sustainable AI through its LollySense methodology, building on its existing ISO credentials and its broader focus on responsible innovation across hospitality.
