Lolly, the hospitality software specialist, has completed the full offsetting of its Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions for 2024 with Circular Ecology, equating to 50 tCO2e mitigated. The move underlines Lolly’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact and demonstrates how a technology provider can actively contribute to the sustainability ambitions of the hospitality sector.
Working with the sustainability consultancy Lansdowne Warwick, Lolly has continued to evolve its net-zero roadmap, ensuring environmental considerations are embedded across the organisation. This year’s offsetting supports certified Gold Standard renewable energy projects, which includes the planting of 200 UK trees to help restore biodiversity.
Lolly has introduced practical measures to reduce its footprint, including the transition to full LED lighting across its site and the installation of EV charging facilities. These upgrades reflect the company’s drive to combine operational improvements with long-term planning, as it advances towards its 2030 net-zero target.
In addition, the company has begun deepening its engagement with suppliers, recognising that the supply chain represents its largest area of long-term environmental impact. New collaboration efforts focus on responsible sourcing, improved materials visibility and closer alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which are all overseen by the Environmental and CSR Committee established in 2024.
Peter Moore, CEO at Lolly, said: “Working alongside Lansdowne Warwick to offset our 2024 emissions is another important step in our long-term sustainability journey.
We’re committed to taking meaningful action now while building the foundations for a lower-carbon future for our business and our sector and we’re delighted with how far we have already come.”
Liz Warwick, environmental and CSR consultant at Lansdowne Warwick, commented: “Lolly has shown a clear and genuine commitment to embedding sustainability across its business. It has been inspiring to work with a leadership team that understands the urgency of climate action and drives meaningful change from the top down. Their net-zero roadmap ensures every decision - from energy use to transport - is being made with their goals in mind.

Catering businesses can choose from various options such as LED screens, LCD displays, or interactive self service kiosks. Each type offers flexible sizes and features tailored to your space and promotional needs.

Integrated EPOS, kiosk and kitchen display systems remove friction from the order journey, eliminate manual re keying and create smoother, faster kitchen workflow. With labour costs rising, unified technology helps operators increase throughput, reduce errors and gain reliable reporting across every channel. This connected approach provides the consistency and speed high volume UK hospitality venues rely on.

A modern hospitality EPoS must offer more than payment handling. UK operators need real‑time reporting, centralised control and seamless integration to reduce admin, protect margins and improve compliance. Lolly’s connected ecosystem brings sales, stock, pricing and kitchen operations into one cloud platform, giving multi‑site teams clarity, consistency and stronger financial governance.

Lolly Introduces Carbon Food Scoring in App for Sustainable Dining Choices Lolly, the hospitality technology specialist, launches a carbon food scoring tool in its app, allowing customers to understand the carbon impact of their food and drinks. The tool calculates the CO2e value for each product, presenting it on a visual scale from low to high. Users can make informed choices, actively reducing their carbon footprint. The app provides real-time adjustments to the overall carbon rating based on users' food choices. Operators can send encouraging messages related to the CO2e score. With increasing focus on sustainability, this functionality aligns with the UK government's goals to reduce carbon emissions and enhances customer loyalty in the hospitality sector.
