School Children Wave Goodbye To Cash

- Lolly launches cloud-based school meal system -The pioneering point of sale software house, Lolly, will be launching its new cloud-based school meal system at this year's Restaurant Show. The solution has been designed to support education providers to quickly and effectively validate against allocated allowances. The new school meal system allocates a specific amount to students, and then seamlessly interfaces this into the Lolly Point of Sale (PoS) system. The process for the student is simple; they use their ID card at the PoS to check their balance, or to redeem their allowance. For the hospitality provider, they are able to utilise an existing investment into contactless cards. The system also enables discreet interaction between the student and till operator, and this anonymity helps to release the stigma associated with free meals. Student eligibility and the daily allowance can also be managed in real- time, reducing the risk of fraud. A web-based administration panel, can be accessed anytime/anywhere, to ensure effective monitoring and management.Peter Moore, CEO at Lolly, said: "We're excited by the potential of this launch, and what it will bring to this sector. We are now developing it to offer additional facilities and rules, such as promoting healthy eating. It also has the ability to support loyalty schemes, which could - potentially - open up a whole new market."Lolly will be exhibiting its suite of products on stand GM28 at The Restaurant Show. For further information please contactKatrina Suppiah, Publicitét| + 44 (0)20 8543 6582e| k.suppiah@publicite.co.uk
