Christmas can be a hard time for many people and, at Kids Inspire, they’re aware of the impacts that it can have on children. This week, the Lolly team went over to our charity partner's head office to help with their annual Christmas Appeal.
Kids Inspire, founded in 2007, fills a gap in mental health services for children, young people and their families. A local charity to Lolly, they offer personalised recovery plans tailored to the unique emotional, behavioural or mental health needs of each young person. These can include creative art therapies, trauma resolution therapies, family therapy and psychodynamic counselling.
The Lolly team, dressed in our festive jumpers, had a great morning wrapping presents to provide hope and relief to families navigating immense challenges during the season. The wider team also sent in gifts for various ages to ensure that no child was forgotten.
Rachael Bassett, Fundraising Manager at Kids Inspire, said that the charity's mission is to ensure that children receive holistic specialist support to become healthy adults who lead complete and fulfilling lives, preventing the need for adult services in the future. She told us;
“When you’re dealing with children's mental health, sometimes there's a stigma attached to that, and being partnered with a company such as Lolly enables us to talk about the uncomfortable things that happen sometimes within our community. They help us reach a wider audience, and enable us to have a conversation about children's mental health. That is far reaching within, not just Essex and Suffolk where we work, but for the wider audience.”
Participating in volunteering was not only fun, but fulfilling, knowing that we can be a small part of creating Christmas joy for children across the county.

Lolly, the hospitality software specialist, has completed the full offsetting of its Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions for 2024 with Circular Ecology. They have continued to evolve their net-zero roadmap, ensuring environmental considerations are embedded across the organisation.

Peter Moore, CEO and Founder of Lolly, explores how time is changing technology & customer experience in hospitality. He revealed what customers truly value, and how businesses can strip away friction to create experiences that feel intuitive, responsive, and effortless. He also unpacked the emerging trends already gaining momentum- technologies and behaviours that will soon shift from 'nice to have' to 'non-negotiable.'

Lolly’s flexible, collaborative approach, combined with strong functionality and value, won unanimous support from Royal Agricultural University.
