Daniel Burton sets out on what is set to be a promising career in IT
Lolly, the EPoS and payment solution specialist, is proud to announce that one of the company's apprentices, Daniel Burton has been shortlisted in the 2018 Just IT Apprenticeship Awards.
The awards are dedicated to the achievements of Apprentices on the Just IT Tech & Digital training programmes and the employers who have supported their success. Following the expansion of the employer awards in 2017 to recognise the vital contribution of companies to the apprenticeship programme, Just IT has presented a range of awards to both businesses and individuals who represent the very best of apprenticeships on the 8th March 2018.
Daniel has been shortlisted in the Advanced Level 3 Apprentice of the Year. He comments: "When Lolly suggested putting me forward for these awards, I was absolutely delighted. It confirmed my view that by choosing to work for Lolly, I had selected the right company. They have invested in me and provided me with great learning opportunities, making my first job an amazing experience. I am up against some stiff competition and hope that I do go on to succeed - it would be a fantastic achievement and accolade. "Peter Moore, CEO at Lolly, adds: "Daniel has been a real asset to our team from the moment he started working with us, and he would be a deserving winner of this award. We wish him every luck with this and his very promising future IT career."

Lolly, the hospitality software specialist, has completed the full offsetting of its Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions for 2024 with Circular Ecology. They have continued to evolve their net-zero roadmap, ensuring environmental considerations are embedded across the organisation.
