Lolly, the EPoS and payment solution specialist, is proud to announce that apprentice Daniel Burton has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2018 Just IT Apprenticeship Awards.
The awards are dedicated to the achievements of apprentices on the Just IT Tech & Digital training programmes, as well as the employers who support them. Following an expansion in 2017 to recognize the vital contribution of companies to the apprenticeship ecosystem, Just IT presented awards to the individuals and businesses representing the very best in the field on 8th March 2018.
Daniel has been shortlisted in the Advanced Level 3 Apprentice of the Year category. This nomination reflects his hard work and the high-quality training environment provided by Lolly.
Daniel Burton commented:
"When Lolly suggested putting me forward for these awards, I was absolutely delighted. It confirmed my view that by choosing to work for Lolly, I had selected the right company. They have invested in me and provided me with great learning opportunities, making my first job an amazing experience. I am up against some stiff competition and hope that I do go on to succeed—it would be a fantastic achievement and accolade."
Lolly remains committed to nurturing young talent and providing a gateway for apprentices to enter the fast-paced world of retail and hospitality technology.
Peter Moore, CEO at Lolly, added:
"Daniel has been a real asset to our team from the moment he started working with us, and he would be a deserving winner of this award. We wish him every luck with this and his very promising future IT career."

Lolly has become the first UK hospitality technology company to achieve the new ISO42001 accreditation. This international standard recognises organisations that manage AI responsibly and transparently.
