3R Telecom Purchases Consolis CES Software Touch Solution

Electronic payment solutions specialist takes over EPoS and sales and stock management system, as Consolis seeks to develop its HQ-based solutions.

Retail technology business Consolis Systems has sold 100 per cent of its shareholding in its CES Touch technology to 3R Telecom, a UK-based EPoS and electronic payments solution company with headquarters in Essex.

Peter Moore, CEO of Consolis Systems, said: "I have known the executive team at 3R Telecom personally for over 12 years, and my colleagues and I are satisfied that this sale is the right move for Consolis Systems and for Touch. 3R Telecom is committed to investing significantly in taking Touch to the next level of functionality and performance, to ensure the system remains a leading performer in the marketplace and continues to satisfy both dealers and end-users going forward."

Operational Transition

Operationally, customers and partners should see little change. Support and service will pass seamlessly to 3R Telecom, with all CES sales and support staff taking positions within the 3R Telecom team.

Ramesh Patel, Director of 3R Telecom, added: "We are very excited with this acquisition; the CES system will complement our product portfolio perfectly. We already have plans to consolidate our existing technology and functionality with Touch. The combined technology will offer huge benefits to our existing clients and those of Touch, whilst offering dealers next-generation HQ functionality, along with the 3R Telecom focus of being a market leader in customer support."

Strategic Growth

3R Telecom has been installing the CES Touch system into its existing customer base for some time. CES Touch technology, staff, and future developments are therefore already core technologies in the 3R Telecom strategic portfolio. An added bonus from the 3R Telecom perspective is the 30,000 Touch clients it will now be servicing.

Consolis Systems will now focus its strategic direction on developing its portfolio of payment technology and HQ-based solutions.
